An RMIT study on pill testing has urged the public release of trial results and drug warnings to help people avoid dangerous substances.
Monica Barratt, the study’s author, emphasised the need for widespread access to the study, which could benefit emergency departments, health workers, and policy makers in Victoria.
The research, involving 41 experts, supported public disclosure of findings despite concerns about law enforcement implications.

The Loop Australia’s trial at Beyond the Valley Festival resulted in reduced drug intake intentions among participants.
Initial trial results were promptly released to the public, with further details forthcoming.
