To use this service you should be
Located in the City of Yarra.
Clients must be residing in the City of Yarra & hold a Pensioner Concession Card, Health Care Card or refugee/asylum seeker visa.
Clients referred by outreach or social workers may not need to produce identifying documents if, for example, they are escaping domestic violence.
Once-off emergency relief may be available for clients residing outside of the City of Yarra with prior arrangement with agency supervisor.

Vinnies Fitzroy Soup Van, Melbourne
An outreach material aid service providing free evening meals in the form of soup and sandwiches for people who are experiencing financial difficulties or who are homeless, the disadvantaged or those at risk of homelessness. A parent or guardian is required for any material aid services provided for children. Visits to boarding & rooming houses in inner-city Melbourne are also available. Street runs have been temporarily suspended but people can telephone the Vinnies Welfare Assistance Line where their needs can be assessed and food parcels can be arranged.

Provides nutritious low-cost food parcels, frozen and fresh foods & fruit & vegetables in the form of material aid for HIV positive clients attending the Centre, with a current Health Care Card.
