Since 2011, Thai eatery Chin Chin has earned its place in Melbourne’s cultural tapestry. By many measures, Chin Chin is the most successful restaurant Melbourne has ever seen. It opened in mid-2011, with queues from day one. But unlike most of its peers, that initial hype hasn’t faded. If anything, it’s intensified. They believe in making dining truly democratic, it doesn’t matter who you are or who you know, you just need to be into it to be in at Chin Chin.

Hofbräuhaus
The Hofbräuhaus brought some much-needed Bavarian froth and fröhlich to the slightly conservative Melbourne CBD of the 60s – and has continued to do so as Melburnians quickly caught on and caught up. Now, nearly half a century later, the citizens of this totally cosmopolitan city know there is really only one place in town where you can let yourself out for a mighty good time with the best bier, the best food, the best music and – best of all – the best people.
