Chibog

A longing for the flavours of her home led Janine Barican to open a Filipino restaurant. Named for a slang term meaning “to eat”, Chibog is all about recreating Filipino comfort food with modern, cheff-y techniques. Instead of adobo, Chibog’s signature is sisig, which is typically made with a mix of braised and charred pig’s ears, pork belly and chicken liver. The neon-lit space is sleek and inviting, with leather banquettes, bar seating and tables for larger groups. It’s a mix of concrete, steel and dark timber textures by designer Elvin Tan.

Simply Spanish

Simply Spanish is a fun little space to enjoy great Spanish food. They celebrate the bold, fresh flavours of Spain with creative cafe-style breakfasts and a daytime offering of tapas and other dishes. This cosy courtyard restaurant is the place to enjoy a quick lunch and a sangria between meetings. Or come in after work to share some tapas and their award-winning paella for dinner. You will come for the paella, but come back for the full Spanish experience.
