What is Christmas?

Christmas –  (“mass on Christ’s day”). A Mass (the central act of worship of the Roman Catholic Church) service where Christians remember that Jesus came and died for us and then came back to life.

Widely associated with the early Christian community distinguished between the identification of the date of Jesus’ birth and the liturgical celebration of that event. Christians believe that Jesus is the light of the world and brings peace to the world, so the early Christians thought that this was the right time to celebrate the birth of Jesus.
